Use of the Robin Hood card

All attractions and services listed are contractually bound with Experience Nottinghamshire to offer pre-paid entry to Robin Hood card holders or other genuine offers and discounts where appropriate.

Each attraction may only be visited once. Your card must be registered by the swipe technology to gain valid attraction entry with the exception of Clumber Park where the Clumber pass needs to be redeemed on entry.

Experience Nottinghamshire have taken all reasonable care to ensure that only properly run and reputable attractions of good standing are within Robin Hood card scheme. That said, Experience Nottinghamshire shall not be liable for any deficiencies in service, quality of merchandise or health and safety obtaining at any particular attraction.

The Robin Hood card may only be used by the card's purchaser and is only valid for the dates stated on the card. It is non-transferable and non-refundable. No replacements or refunds can be offered for lost or stolen cards. The Robin Hood card is not valid for same-day return visits to any attraction.

Holders of the Robin Hood card recognise and accept that they visit any attraction voluntarily and entirely at their own risk.

Experience Nottinghamshire is not in any way responsible for the conditions of the attractions or venues or third party acts or omissions at any attraction, venue or service.

Opening times and availability

Opening times will fluctuate from time to time and visitors are recommended to check with the attraction concerned prior to visiting it to ascertain the current position.

The Robin Hood card may still be purchased on Bank Holidays and special event days, however they may not be valid for entry on these days and standard attraction admission tickets may apply for entry.

Admission with a Robin Hood card is not guaranteed on normal or special event days due to limited capacity at attractions. Please note that not all attractions are open all year and we cannot guarantee that all rides and attraction activities will be available or in operation when you visit attractions. Use of the card implies agreement with the terms & conditions for each of the attractions.

The management of each attraction reserves the right to refuse admission to any card holder and, in the interest of the public and for safety reasons, reserve the right to require guests to leave the attractions at any time.

Failure to present a valid Robin Hood card will result in a charge of the “on the day” admission rate applicable to the relevant attraction, which will be non-refundable.

Please be advised that promotions and/or discounts cannot be used when buying tickets online, by phone or in person.

Refunds and replacement tickets

Refunds are not available in any circumstances in whole or part.

The Robin Hood card will not be refunded in whole or part if any of the attractions are no longer available or if any or part of the attractions is removed or closed during the year.
We cannot refund or replace cards for the reason of adverse weather conditions.

If a Robin Hood card is issued in error (for example, a child pass is issued instead of a family pass) it can only be replaced/re-issued by the original issuer of the card and a valid receipt/proof of purchase must be presented.

Lost, stolen and damaged cards

Please keep your card and Clumber pass secure as Experience Nottinghamshire or the attractions and participating third parties in this promotion cannot replace lost or stolen cards.

If a damaged card is presented, the attractions reserve the right to refuse entry and will result in a charge of the “on the day” admission rate applicable to the relevant attraction, which will be non-refundable.

 Data Protection

As the Robin Hood card is also a Things to do in Nottinghamshire card, your details will be shared with Things to do in Nottinghamshire so that you can be kept informed of special offers and discounts at other attractions throughout the county.

If you do not wish to have your details shared in this manner, you have the opportunity to opt out at the point of purchasing your Robin Hood card.

We may from time to time analyse your data and pass usage. This information will remain confidential and will not be made available to external companies outside of Experience Nottinghamshire, other than for research purposes on behalf of Experience Nottinghamshire.

Complaints procedure

All and any complaints or claims for redress must be made directly to the attraction concerned.

Experience Nottinghamshire shall not be responsible if any attraction, contrary to the terms of its contract with them, unlawfully and with no good cause, refuses pre-paid admission or other genuine offers and discounts where appropriate.

Experience Nottinghamshire will use reasonable endeavours (where such refusal is unreasonable and/or in breach of contract) to facilitate admission or other genuine offers and discounts to Robin Hood cardholders by the attraction concerned but if they should fail in their attempts, Experience Nottinghamshire shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, or inconvenience suffered.

Complaints to Experience Nottinghamshire must be submitted in writing. Your complaint will be investigated by an appropriate person.

You will receive an acknowledgment in writing within five working days. We aim to fully reply within 10 working days. If a full response cannot be issued within this timescale we will contact you to confirm:

·          who is dealing with the complaint

·          the reason for any delay

·          how long it will be before a full reply will be issued

If we have made a mistake we will apologise and take any corrective action we can.

We monitor and report on the complaints we have received. We try to learn from them to
improve our processes and intend that our complaints handling process reflects best practice and opportunities for learning.
