Dragon Boat Challenge @ the Riverside Festival
8th August 2010

A fabulous day of fun, music and entertainment for all the family in aid of Rainbows Children's Hospice, Sunday 8th August 2010.

This year's Riverside Festival marks the second Dragon Boat Challenge in aid of Rainbows Children's Hospice,. Gable Events has once again joined with Rainbows Children's Hospice to bring this Dragon Boat Challenge back as part of the Riverside Festival. 

Companies, organisations and clubs are invited to enter teams of up to 11 people where up to 50 crews are expected to battle it out over the 200m race course on the River Trent watched by thousands of spectators. The Challenge is expected to be one of the highlights of the Festival in 2010.

Colourful, exciting and great fun, the dragon boats and all equipment are provided and no previous experience is required - just plenty of team spirit! 

The Nottingham Riverside Festival is one of Nottingham's largest family events and include a bustling fair and vibrant mix of music, dance, crafts and food from around the world.

There is plenty of car parking provided on the Embankment for a small charge and a regular bus service from the City Centre, which is approximately one mile away.
