There's lots happening at Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre throughout the rest of August.
On August 22nd and 23rd, Steam trains will be running the whole nine mile length of the line to Loughborough Junction, hauled by a Class 56 Heritage Diesel Locomotive - from which you can view the countryside and wildlife of South Notts down to the Soar Valley in Leicestershire.
Other activities include miniture train rides around the track and a superb model train display.
