Tales From The Darker Side

OCTOBER 30th     TALES FROM THE DARKER SIDE – 7.30pm & 9.30pm (Not suitable for under 14’s)

Veteran “psychological investigator” Dr Nicolas Grimoire invites you to join him for a unique mixture of Gothic magic, psychological illusion and spooky story-telling.

Guests will be welcomed to the Abbey with a glass of wine or fruit juice in the Beckett Room, and then taken along the medieval cloister before ascending the 19th century stone staircase to the magnificent oak-panelled Great Hall.

There you will be joined by Dr Grimoire as he tells his “Tales from The Darker Side”, and conjures up ancient mysteries and attempts unusual experiments with your help.  Dr Grimoire’s spine-chilling blend of magic and storytelling is a tongue-in-cheek display of chilling magic and story-telling which makes an excellent evenings entertainment on a winter’s night.

Limited number of tickets available for each performance, pre-booking is essential. Tickets available from Newstead Abbey, 01623 455900 - £9.50 each.

Would patrons please note, Newstead Abbey is an historic building with many stairs and the performance will take place in the Great Hall on the 1st floor.
