11 Sept: Robin Hood Festival of Running


11th September 2011

Robin Hood Marathon and Half-Marathon

The 10th Robin Hood Marathon and Half Marathon will start and finish at Victoria Embankment and runwill pass many of Nottingham's historical and well known landmarks including Nottingham Castle, Wollaton Park and Nottingham University and its lake. Along the way they’ll also take in Nottingham Forest and Notts County and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, whilst meandering down the majestic River Trent. 

Start Time:  10.05 am

Fun Run

Join the thousands of fun runners who take part in this mini marathon event. You can run, walk or jog this 2.25 mile fun run, which starts and finishes at the Victoria Embankment. The fun run is open to all ages and abilities whether you've just started running or you just want to soak up the carnival atmosphere with friends and family.  The Fun Run starts at 10:20am and all competitors will receive a commemorative medal. There will be no times given.
