Sample the best in fresh local produce at these regular food and drink markets which are held on the third Friday and Saturday of each month in the Market Square. Bring along a shopping list for a special meal or if you can't wait try some of the delicious ready-cooked treats on sale.

The market includes regular meat, dairy and green grocery stalls.

Time: 10.00 am to 4.00 pm

"I just wanted to say that Nottingham's Market Square is brilliant! I sat in the square today for an hour watching people having fun in the water, it was peaceful and relaxing and to top it off a duck landed in the water much to everyone’s delight.There was a Muller Rice stand in the square and they were giving away free cartons of Muller rice!"

"How nice that Nottingham gets its act together to celebrate St George's day so well.
The Parede was great, the music was superb and the stalls were good. To top it off, we finally had a go on the big wheel: fantastic!"

Event reviewed : Ice Skating

"Try the ice skating in the Market square, it is great fun! I took my son during the week and we just about had the whole rink to ourselves!I had not skated for many years but managed to have some fun without falling over, the staff made sure my son had a great time and took him for a great time flying around in a car.Highly recommend it for a fun experience."
