Live Music, Arrival Drink and Complimentary Canapés

Remember the good old days when you’d celebrate the start of the weekend with a couple of drinks straight from work before heading home or seeing where the evening took you? Well, they’re on their way back! Tonic is delighted to announce the launch of Good Fridays with Live Music every Friday from 23rd April 2010. The first set will start around 6.00 pm, allowing you plenty of time to clear your desk and get comfortable at the bar or in a booth.

We will be featuring the very best local artists and bands playing funky, soulful, jazzy tracks with an uplifting feel. Expect a mixture of original songs and covers, including some classic rare groove and Motown tracks.

Our first gig is Hayley Ria Christian: ‘Singing from The Soul’

Hayley has recently returned to Nottingham from Manchester, where she has been wowing audiences with her 'Singing From The Soul' show for over five years, after completing her training at The North Cheshire Theatre School where she received Honours in Musical Theatre Diploma.

Since putting her 'Singing From The Soul' show together she has now become recognised as one of the leading female artistes performing and paying tribute to the everpopular songs from the soul and Motown era.

Hayley will be launching Good Fridays at Tonic on Friday 23rd April with the first set at around 6.00 pm.

For the first couple of gigs we will be serving complimentary canapés between 5.30 and 6.30pm to get the evening going. You can also claim your voucher for a complimentary drink on arrival by replying to this e-mail with the words ‘Live Music Drink’ and the date of the gig you will be attending – we’ll then send you your unique voucher code.

"We went recently for dinner in the eveing and had and amazing meal and lovely wine .. the 25% was a HUGE bonus
So on wednesday my husband and I went at lunchtime and enjoyed another great meal ...we hope the discount stays around for a while ;0) but happy that we have been introduced to such a good restauarant that previously we ignored.

5 star food + 5 star drinks + 5 star service = will be going again!"

"Just spent a very enjoyable evening at Tonic on a works night out. Tonic is a lovely place to eat, whatever the occasion. We chose from the large party menu and everyone found something that they liked the look of. The portions aren't huge but there is certainly enough food to fill you up and the presentation was amazing. You can really tell that its been freshly prepared. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely eat there again. Highly recommended (especially the Irn Bru sorbet!)"
