"We had a very enjoyable day at this free event. There were lots of different activities that the whole family could get involved in, including football, rugby, cricket, running and even egg and spoon races! The kids were encouraged to try out all of the activities and, for each one they completed, a stamp was put into their cards. When they had filled their card up, the child received a prize.
It was all good, healthy outdoor fun and everyone there seemed to be having a fantastic time. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and even the goody bags they were handing out included things like pesto and vitamins, as well as some good information - so well worth having.
I really hope this event happens again next year, as we will definitely be attending. A really good day out for the whole family."

"I visited several fairs this year with my family including Hull fair (which always claims to be bigger than Nottingham’s). Goose fair was brilliant this year; we went earlier than usual, during the day on the Saturday. It is great to be able to park safely and go on the Tram, my young kids always view this as one of the rides, plus I don‘t miss the walk back through the streets in the dark, carrying prizes and children looking for the car.Took this picture from the top of the Giant Wheel: What a view."

"Hook-a-Duck, Helter-Skelter, hot dogs and candyfloss; all the old favourites were there for the 2008 Goose Fair, ensuring something for everyone from 1 to 101! Running for over 700 years in Nottingham the fair is a chance for young and old to come together and experience the bright lights, rides (and food) that combine to make the event so special - a good night had by all."

"This years Goose Fair was a delight, we went on Friday at 7pm so we could get the most from the Lights and feel the atmosphere! This is the first year that my son could really understand and enjoy the whole thing and he loved it!You cannot beat Nottingham for a fairground visit, parking at Wilkinson Street and getting the tram to and from the fair not only extends the night: it is like an extra ride (but cheaper than the dodgems!) and everyone is excited and great fun.It feels safe and clean and I would recommend the Goose fair to everyone."
