D H Lawrence Birthplace Museum
The D H Lawrence Birthplace Museum is an astounding recreation of a Victorian family home, which is brought to life through informative and friendly guides.  This is the house where D H Lawrence was born in 1855.

At Durban House Heritage Centre discover the world as it was when Lawrence was a child, a well as details of his later life and works.  Visit the Rainbow Gallery on site to see a diverse range of contemporary art.

Then finish off by completing the Blue Line Trail, which takes you to all of the homes and places of interest connected to D.H Lawrence in Eastwood.

Robin Hood Activity Day

3rd June 2010

Join in the thrilling fun at D.H. Lawrence Heritage, Durban House Heritage Centre, as we celebrate the release of the new action movie ‘Robin Hood’ starring Russell Crowe. Why not try the Have-a-Go archery or discover the skills the Merry men would have needed to survive in Sherwood Forest with our survival skills workshop. 

Try your hand at making some fun Robin Hood crafts including the famous hat (£1.50 per child). Handle the owls of Sherwood Forest (£1.00 handling donation) and complete our fun scavenger hunt.

Time:  10.00 am to 3.00 pm
