A Date with Nature

RSPB Date with Nature - Swallows

Every Thursday to Sunday, 26 May - 4 September

Discover what creeps, crawls, slithers and flutters around Wollaton Park this summer thanks to an 'RSPB Date with Nature'.

Nature lovers can enjoy breathtaking nest cam action of a family of swallows as they build their nest and lay eggs through to feeding fluffy chicks and those nail-biting first flights.

And discover wildlife from red and fallow deer, frogs to dragonflies and nuthatches to woodpeckers.  Youngsters will be getting creative thanks to fun wildlife activities and families can go on safari together using a special 'I spy' nature pack.

Friendly staff and volunteers will be at the swallow watchpoint in the courtyard by The Café every Thursday to Sunday, 11am - 4pm. Unfortunately, they won't be there 14-17 July, although the site will still be open for you to visit.

Images from the nestcam will be shown on a projector screen in a nearby room.
