Hidden Nights Every Thursday in the Hidden Bar
Join us every Thursday night from 10pm for our new night....'Hidden Nights' with Red Rack'em Nottingham based DJ/Producer Danny Berman (aka Red Rack'em/Hot Coins) had a pretty hectic 2009. He performed at the Radio 1 Worldwide Awards, Snowbombing, Matter, Glastonbury and Big Chill festivals as well as releasing massive house and disco records on record labels including Tirk, Untracked, Deep Freeze and Undertones. He's an acclaimed remixer for artists such as Tricky, Joubert Singers, The Revenge, Zed Bias and his tracks are supported by massive names like Greg Wilson, Dixon, Mr Scruff, Carl Craig, Jazzanova and Todd Terje. His Smugglers Inn radio show and podcast regularly pulls in thousands of listeners from across the globe and Radio One have been all over his various projects too with support from Gilles Peterson, Rob Da Bank and Mary Anne Hobbes. 2010 looks like it’s going to continue at the same pace for Danny with EPs about to drop on Shift and Home Taping plus the launch of his own imprint Bergerac.
Danny will be appearing in Hidden Bar every Thursday night between 10pm and 2am and will be providing the perfect soundtrack for a late night drink and dance. Expect to hear the finest disco, funk, house, electro, jazz and broken beat grooves.

"I visited Alea for the first time this month and was really impressed with what I found. Up to 10.00 pm, non-members can just walk in and have a meal in the 108 Grill or a drink in one of the bars. There are plenty of places to sit and have a quiet chat, or you can wander around and really enjoy the fantastic ambience of the place.
Do not make the mistake that I did and assume that Alea is just for gambling. Yes, there is a gambling floor, which is a great place for people-watching but if you're not into that, there are so many other areas that you can hang out in, that you may forget that you are in a casino and think that you have walked into an upmarket City Centre bar.
They've got some great deals on food Monday to Thursday too (Things to do cardholders get 50% off between 5pm and 12 midnight).
I'd really recommend it for a stop-off during an evening out."
