"February half-term, 2 children of different ages and a dull wet day. We had to find something that we would all enjoy that wasn't too far away, so I didn't have to cope with any squabbling in the car! Pot 'n' Kettle seemed to have all the answers, so after having a quick look on the site to see what they offer, we made the trip to Beeston to find out what it was all about.
There is plenty of cheap parking in Beeston, so we parked very nearby and settled down for some creative fun. The staff in Pot 'n' Kettle were friendly and helpful and there was a wide variety of stuff to choose from, all at reasonable prices. As well as the pot painting, you can also get something to drink and the shop has a very nice atmosphere. We spent a couple of hours and the kids were very happy with their creations - my son would have happily painted everything there! We left our masterpieces to be glazed (although you don't have to do this) and will be picking them up in a few days.
All in all, we had a very nice experience and I'd definitely recommend this as a place to take the kids - although there's lots of stuff for grownups too ...
To top it all off, we got 10% discount with our Things to do in Nottinghamshire card."
