Join In! Let's celebrate volunteers in Nottingham!  Come and join us in Market Square on June 5th as we celebrate the fantastic work done by volunteers across the city

Volunteers' Week is an annual event which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. It plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to society, while inspiring others to get involved too.

To celebrate this year's Volunteers' Week, Nottingham City Council and Nottingham Community & Voluntary Service have teamed up again to take over Market Square on June 5th 2010 from 10am to 4pm. Market Square will be filled with displays and demonstrations from a range of community groups, all keen to show some of the great projects they're involved in across our city. Jacksfeet will be providing free holistic therapies for volunteers, as another way of saying thank you to them. Event First Aid Services are also supporting us by providing first aid cover for the event.
