WESTLIFE ARE COMING TO MANSFIELD

MANSFIELD is set to host its biggest ever live music event, with the announcement that Westlife will be coming to Field Mill Stadium, home of Mansfield Town Football Club, on Saturday 21st August 2010.

Possibly the most recognisable Irish faces on the planet after Bono, Westlife are the second act to announce a date at the East Midlands’ newest concert venue, following the X Factor finalists on Friday 11th June 2010.

No pop group can compare to Westlife’s extraordinary success. In their 12 years at the top, they have sold over 43 million records globally. In the UK alone they have scored nine multi-platinum albums and a record breaking 14 No.1 hits, behind only Elvis and The Beatles.  The line up: Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan, saw their latest album ‘Where We Are’ reach number two in the UK Albums chart.

A total of 15,000 tickets are now on sale for this massive outdoor summer concert priced between £36-45 per ticket.

LATEST NEWS:  Westlife will be supported by female pop band WONDERLAND

Tickets can be bought online by visiting the ticketmaster website or by phoning the stadium hotline 01623 482 482.
