Capital FM Arena Nottingham

Situated in the heart of Nottingham city centre and with a capacity of 10,000, Capital FM Arena hosts the biggest names in live music, comedy and sports. There are some great shows and events coming up at the East Midlands’ premier entertainment venue including Kylie Minogue, Ed Sheeran, Bryan Adams and Status Quo to name but a few, plus, comedians Lee Evans, Russell Howard and John Bishop are on the bill for 2014. The Arena itself is situated within the National Ice Centre – a centre of excellence for all ice sports in the UK. Learn to skate on a Skate UK course, grab your friends and skate almost every day of the year or come to one of our many themed skating parties for something a bit different! The NIC comprises of two Olympic size ice rinks, (one of which transforms into Capital FM Arena), Ice Locker - the biggest ice sports store in the UK, as well as dance studios and conference rooms. It is used as a training base by the majority of Great Britain’s bright young skaters, is home to the GB Speed Skating Squad and the oldest ice hockey team in the country, the GMB Nottingham Panthers.

The prestigious National Ice Centre and Capital FM Arena Nottingham complex is one of the most high profile venues in the East Midlands. Famed for being the home of ice skating legends Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean and for hosting the biggest names in music, sport and comedy, the venue is a unique and memorable location for any event.
