"Great tour, knowledgable guide. The view from the ballroom at the top of the hall is great, although by aware there are very steep winding stairs to get there and the tour does go out on the rooftop - not one for those with vertigo!"

Review title : A Great Day at Wollaton, added by : Michelle (16/01/2009)

"We visited Wollaton Hall and Park with our two young sons and we all had a great day despite the cold outside. My eldest son was enthralled by the two herds of deer; Fallow and Red. He was thrilled to get close to the Red deer herd at dusk as they fed on turnips close to the Hall.
The Hall itself has many interactive displays and proved to be both interesting and informative. There were many natural history exhibits; stuffed animals, birds and reptiles. Displays of how the Hall was run and who lived there and much more. Overall a brilliant free day out."

"My friends and I took a trip to Wollaton Park for the day, but due to the unpredictable English weather, we had to take shelter in Wollaton Hall. While there, we decided to take a look around the building and enjoyed looking through all the historic rooms and seeing how much it had changed since it's recent refurbishment. I was very impressed and would definately reccomend it to anyone who would appreciate it's interesting content."
