Newstead Abbey

Newstead Abbey is a beautiful historic house converted from a monastery, set in extensive formal gardens and parkland. It is the former home of the poet Lord Byron, and many of his possessions can still be seen. 

Newstead Abbey is located off the main A60 between Nottingham and Mansfield.

Spooky Tales of Newstead

The staff at Newstead Abbey invite you to join them for an evening tour of the Abbey, where they will tell you some of the spooky tales associated with the Abbey. Some historical, others based on their own experiences.

An evening’s amusement that will send a shiver down your spine and perhaps may also chill your bones. Do you dare to join on an evening perambulation through some of the dimly lit galleries and corridors of the Abbey?

For adults and 14+ years. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Time:  TWO PERFORMANCES 7PM, 7.30PM
Cost:   £10.50 PER TICKET, NO CONCESSIONS.
