6 Dec: Winter Wonderland Christmas Fayre
Monday 6th December 12 noon to 10 pm

For one day and night only Nottingham's historic Council House in Market Square will become home to one of the UK's largest ever Christmas Fayres.

Over 50 stalls ranging from major retailers to independent shops, wine merchants, hamper companies, card designers and travel companies will join together for a 10 hour Winter Wonderland themed spectacular in the stunning surroundings of the Grade II listed Grand Ballroom.

The Winter Wonderland Christmas Fayre is a fantastic chance to get through lots of Christmas shopping and be entertained by the city's favourite entertainers whilst sipping on a glass from the exclusive champagne bar. Alongside the city's biggest names will be smaller, independent producers of many other yuletide essentials, there will also be a gift wrapping service, it's a great opportunity to get ready for the festive season ahead.

"I just wanted to say that Nottingham's Market Square is brilliant! I sat in the square today for an hour watching people having fun in the water, it was peaceful and relaxing and to top it off a duck landed in the water much to everyone’s delight.There was a Muller Rice stand in the square and they were giving away free cartons of Muller rice!"

"How nice that Nottingham gets its act together to celebrate St George's day so well.
The Parede was great, the music was superb and the stalls were good. To top it off, we finally had a go on the big wheel: fantastic!"

"Try the ice skating in the Market square, it is great fun! I took my son during the week and we just about had the whole rink to ourselves!I had not skated for many years but managed to have some fun without falling over, the staff made sure my son had a great time and took him for a great time flying around in a car.Highly recommend it for a fun experience."
