Southwell Minster
Set in a quiet market town, Southwell Minster—with its majestic Norman nave and glorious 13th-century chapter house—is one of the least known jewels in the crown of Nottinghamshire. The Minster’s popular Education programme, run by a part-time Education Officer, encourages children and young people to visit the Minster and to participate in a variety of activities. The Minster is also a very popular venue for concerts and exhibitions.

Christmas in Southwell 2010

Lantern Workshops on 4th and 5th December, for more information and to reserve your place call Southwell Tourism on 01636 819038.

Lantern and Lights - The Lantern Walk. Saturday 11th December. A Lantern Procession through the park to the Minster School, followed by carol singing and refreshments.

Carols for Everyone Concert, Southwell Minster . Saturday 18th December. 7.30pm. Tickets £6, Children £3 from the Minster shop. Call 01636 812933.
