9th March 2011

MANSFIELD TOWN’S away game at Histon has been moved to Tuesday 22nd March, 7.45pm.

The Stags were scheduled to meet The Stutes on Saturday 19th March but we will instead face BSBP promotion hopefuls Luton in the away leg of the club’s FA Trophy Semi Final clash.

A new date is yet to be confirmed for this Saturday's scheduled home meeting with Bath which now requires rearranging as the Stags entertain Luton at Field Mill on Sunday in the club’s bid to move one step closer to Wembley.

15th February 2011

MANSFIELD TOWN have sold 300 tickets within the first hour of trading for the Stags’ FA Trophy Quarter-Final tie at Chasetown on 26 February.

Fans formed a long queue outside the club’s ticket office when it opened for business at 9am today.  The club, who were given a total allocation of just 600 standing tickets, are advising supporters not to leave it too late to secure tickets for the latest chapter of the Stags’ road to Wembley.

Season ticket holders have until Friday to buy their tickets for the clash at The Scholars Ground strictly on a one per person basis. Any remaining tickets will go on sale on Monday 21st February.

Tickets are £10 adults and £6 concessions and are available at the Field Mill ticket office.

26th January 2011:

MANSFIELD TOWN are delighted to announce that admission prices will be slashed for the Stags’ next fixture at Field Mill against Wrexham this Saturday (29 January 2011).

For one game only, adults will be charged £10 – a reduction of over a third – whilst concessions will be admitted for just £1.

25th January 2011:

MANSFIELD TOWN’S away match against league-leaders AFC Wimbledon has been brought forward by 24 hours.

The match will now be played on Good Friday (22nd April) kicking off at 3pm.

24th January 2011:

MANSFIELD TOWN can confirm admission prices for their FA Trophy Round Three tie at home to Alfreton on Saturday 05 February.

The below prices apply to spectators in all stands:

£12 Adults
£6 Concessions
£2 U7s (When accompanied by a paying adult).

Season ticket holders wishing to reserve their seat have until 5pm on Wednesday 02 February to do so.  Otherwise, the match is a 'pay on the day' for home supporters.

Alfreton Town have been allocated 909 tickets and Reds' fans are advised not to travel to Field Mill without a ticket.

18th January 2011

MANSFIELD TOWN’S BSBP match away to York City will now be played on Tuesday 15 March (7.45pm). The match, which was originally scheduled for Saturday 05 February, has been moved following The Stags’ home draw to either Cambridge or Alfreton in the Third Round of the FA Trophy.

14th January 2011:

STAGS’ Goalkeeping coach Chris Adamson has been registered to play in tomorrow's Trophy tie at home to Newport County. The 32-year-old former West Brom keeper will act as cover for Neil Collett and is expected to be amongst the substitutes.

11th Janury 2011:

Stags Open New Town Centre Store

MANSFIELD TOWN can announce that as of Wednesday 11th January 2011, the club will be trial-running its brand new club shop in the Town centre. Based in Market Street, Mansfield, and adjacent to the Town Hall, it will host all lines of official merchandise. Alongside the existing club shop at Field Mill, it is hoped that the Town Centre store can prove to be an additional and valuable revenue stream in the current harsh economic climate.

The Market Street shop will be open during the week from 10am-3pm and on Saturday's at times to be confirmed.

5th Jan 2011:

defender Rhys Day has signed a deal keeping him at Field Mill until June 2012.

The 28-year-old made his return to Mansfield in a loan deal from Oxford in October having last played for us in 2006. The commanding central defender had failed to break into Oxford's first team this season following their return to the Football League but played a central part in their promotion from the BSBP last term. The former Manchester City trainee has made seven appearances for the Stags so far this season and is now one of the first names to appear on manager Duncan Russell's teamsheet.

MANSFIELD TOWN’S Boxing Day clash at home to Grimsby has been postponed. Local referee Russell Booth inspected the pitch earlier this morning and had little choice but to call off the fixture due to the frozen state of the pitch. Temperatures are forecast to remain below zero for the next few days. Several pipes have also burst in the stadium making the toilets unusable and these cannot be fixed until they have thawed out. The car park and surrounding areas remain treacherous and present a safety hazard to spectators.

MANSFIELD TOWN'S BSBP away game at Crawley has been rescheduled for Tuesday 01 March 2011 (7.45pm). This follows the postponement of the original date on Friday 17 December due to a frozen pitch at the Broadfield Stadium.
