Nottingham Panthers
The GMB Nottingham Panthers play in the top flight of professional ice hockey…the UK Elite League.
Last season the Panthers lifted not one but two trophies and were crowned Challenge Cup Champions and Play-off Winners too.

The season runs from September to April. The Panthers are recognised as a glamour club with great skills and the match night show is amazing with music and cheerleaders, ice demonstrations, and more on offer every time the Panthers skate out onto the ice at the fabulous Capital FM Arena. Check out the panthers own website at panthers.co.uk for more news and details.

A good night out for everyone - GUARANTEED!!!

Gary Moran: “This is going to be a cracker of a season. There are ten teams in the league and everyone is raring to go. There are some great players lined up to play in the Elite League both with us and the other teams, it is going to be more competitive than ever. I think last year with its downs and ups was exciting, this one’s going to be even better. Ice hockey is all about skills and passion, heart and effort, blood and guts. It’s got everything, the fans will be telling their mates that it’s all about being there and, judging by our postbag, this new season can’t come round soon enough.”

For fixtures and team news visit the home of the 2010 Challenge Cup champions at www.panthers.co.uk or call the Panthers Official Hotline on 09068 800660 (calls charged at 60p per minute).

FIXTURE CHANGE . . . away game in Sheffield brought forward 24 hours !

The GMB Panthers game in Sheffield at the beginning of next month has been brought forward 24 hours and is now on Friday February 4th.

This fixture change is part of a raft of changes affecting other clubs and has been put in place because of limited ice availability elsewhere.

19th December 2010

The GMB Panthers players will be in the foyer to meet fans at 4pm on Sunday after the cancellation of their home game with Belfast.  The Belfast game moves to Friday January 7th, tickets from this weekend apply.

MEANWHILE, the planned signing session for fans to customise their Christmas gifts WILL still take place. It will now start at 4pm in the foyer of the Trent FM Arena. The last of this year's calendars will also be on sale and the photo desk will be in operation. The match night magazine planned for Sunday's game will also be on sale. Sure to become a collector's item as the magazine for 'the game that never was' it too will be available in the foyer.

The kids from the Bluebell school have been practising their carols and Christmas songs for the game, and they're still coming too.

AND the supporters club desk will be manned between 4pm and 5pm so if you've got any toy donations for next Tuesday's hospital visit you can still bring them along as well. Thanks for your support, it is truly appreciated.
