We have been in Matlock since 1996, having moved over the hill from Chesterfield to run our little bed & breakfast here in the town centre. It's called Bradley House Hotel. The Boathouse became an addition in May 2009, and now Bradley House is finally closing as of 30th June 2011.
During our time in Matlock, and being Derbyshire born and bred, we think we have a pretty good knowledge of the surrounding area..... something of an advantage when it comes to directing you around the Derbyshire hills and what to do and what to go and see............
Having looked after our guests at Bradley House for all those years, we believe that we have an understanding of what people "really" want from a stay in our area......home from home comforts....friendly hosts....good food......warm hospitality......but most of all, a base from which they can explore the peak district time and time again, no matter whether it's for one or two nights, or several weeks.....so, we try to make our guests feel like part of the family !
