We’re located in the city’s Cornerhouse development which houses a large cinema, new super casino and hair salon, amongst other great facilities. Just at the end of the road are the famous Theatre Royal and Concert Hall, both of which attract large-scale theatre productions and many big-name bands.
Stroll in the other direction and you come to Nottingham's largest shopping precinct, The Victoria Centre, complete with all the big name department stores. CHICKEN TIKKA MAKHANI:
Chicken breast pieces, in a creamy lentil, spinach & cashew nut curry sauce.
THAI GREEN CHICKEN CURRY:
Chicken breast pieces, with pak choi, green peppers and spinach, in a rich Thai-flavoured curry sauce, finished with coconut cream.
CHANNA DAAL: V
Chickpeas, aubergine and spinach, in a mildly spiced curry sauce.
BEEF BHUNA:
Tender pieces of beef in a spicy north Indian tomato & coriander curry sauce.
GOAN VEGETABLE CURRY: V
Sweet potato, onion, tomato, peppers, chickpeas and spinach in a medium-spiced coconut cream & yoghurt sauce.
CHICKEN KORMA:
Chicken breast pieces in a mild coconut cream & yoghurt sauce, with almonds.
BEEF VINDALOO:
Slow-cooked pieces of beef in a hot and spicy tomato, onion & chilli sauce.
PRAWN MAKHANI:
King prawns in a creamy lentil, spinach & cashew nut curry sauce.

"I went to the Slug and Lettuce in Nottingham for a girlie lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. I had only been in there before for nights out for drinks (which I thoroughly enjoy) but didn't have high expectations on the food part of things. How wrong I was.
Firstly, we arrived Saturday smack bang busy lunch time and were seated straight away. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and speedy without rushing us.
Our food arrived and was excellent, fresh quality and served with a gorgeous Rioja. I was most impressed.
What impressed me even more was the bill and with 15% off with my Things to do card, well I could afford to carry on shopping...yay!

"The Slug and Lettuce is, maybe surprisingly, an excellent place for Sunday dinner. We took our two young children and were very pleased with the kids menu and Sunday roast. The portions are huge and absolutely delicious, the service was very friendly, the prices reasonable (25% discount with a Things to do card) and they even have a toy box for the kids to dig around in, as well as colouring in stuff, wet wipes and even nappies!!
Would very highly recommend The Slug and Lettuce at any time but definitely if you have kids and want somewhere you can take them, where they will be welcomed and have something to keep them amused. More venues should give this kind of service - its excellent."
