2 May: Wembley Open Day (FREE)

2nd May 2011

IN CONJUNCTION with the Stags Supporters’ Association, Mansfield Town are pleased to confirm that their playing squad be signing Wembley merchandise on Monday 02 May from 10am at Field Mill.

The club have advertised this to be the ideal opportunity to buy essential Wembley items ahead of the Stags’ FA Trophy Final at the home of football on 07 May.

The club’s ticket office will also be open from 10am onwards for supporters wishing to buy tickets for the big match.

Supporters will also be delighted to learn that the club will be opening their doors FREE of charge to watch the players train on the Field Mill pitch from 11am.  The Stags’ Wembley heroes, along with manager Duncan Russell and his assistant Paul Hall will then be available to sign autographs and Wembley merchandise in the club’s Sandy Pate Bar afterwards.

Doors will open at 10am and food and drink will also be available on the day.

Chief Executive Steve Barker said:  “There is already a great atmosphere sweeping through the club and the Town and this day should be the perfect chance to buy both tickets and merchandise.  It is important to us that people buy Wembley items from either the club or the SSA, as any merchandise bought at Wembley on the day of the final will not go back into the club’s purse.”

Added Dean Foulkes, Chairman of the SSA:  “I would encourage as many people as possible to come down and soak up the atmosphere, including all the pubs and clubs who have already booked buses and bought tickets.  This is a great chance for them to grab any Wembley items which both we and the club are selling.”
