Old Market Square
Historically, the Old Market Square, right in the heart of Nottingham City Centre, forms a meeting place for the people of Nottingham and is also the location for local events, civic protests, royal visits, celebrations and public mourning.  It was redesigned and reopened in 2007.

Many of Nottingham's most defining moments have occurred here.

19th November to 21st December 2008

Visit the Old Market Square this November and December and enjoy the delights of a traditional German market.  This is your chance to shop for traditional food and crafts, including delicious cakes, waffles, gingerbread, smoked sausages, beautiful wooden toys, jewellery, lanterns and much more.

Get into the Christmas spirit by sampling a glass of mulled wine and enjoy the skating on the outdoor rink.  

People of all ages will find something of interest at this spectacular annual market and it is the ideal place to buy those unique Christmas gifts.

Opening times:  Monday to Saturday 10.00 am - 8,00 pm and Sunday 10.00 am - 6.00 pm.
