Whenever staying away from home the question of where to eat is normally a big one. Here at the National Water Sports Centre we have a range of hot and cold food and drink options available to suit any budget or dietry requirement.
Bar
The National Water Sports Centre has a Bar, which is situated in the main building. The bar is open daily from 18:30 until 23:00 (22:30 on Sundays) but opening times can be extended with advanced warning (dependant on group size).
During large Regattas and events the bar is open throughout the day and welcomes families, please note: under 18's must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
In the bar customers can enjoy snacks such as panini's, sandwiches, crisps and pasta dishes as well as a range of drinks including wine, beer, assorted soft drinks and fresh coffee.
The bar is the ideal place to start if your staying over on a stag/hen do, if your stopping over on business or just as a well-earned reward following a hard training session.
Catering
The National Water Sports Centre is well known for its water sports, but within Nottinghamshire it is also well known for its high standards of service within the world of catering. With a range of outlets we have something to suit every group, from sitdown banquets to burgers on-the-go around the beautiful country park.
Main Building
In the Main building we have a restaurant open 7 days a week offering almost everything you could need. You can pop in just for a cup of tea, or go the whole hog and have a 3 course meal. The restaurant is perfect for when you have just finished your activitiy or as your on your way round the lake on a Sunday morning walk.
Water Ski Cableway
In the water ski cableway building visitors can grab a cup of tea and bar of chocolate to refuel after a few hours on the water, or just if in passing. Its a great location to while away a few hours and watch the wake boarders/water skiiers.
White Water Course
The White Water Course has a burger van open during peak periods (usually Saturdays and Sundays), where you can grab a burger, hotdog and drink. The burger van is open for the public to enjoy and offers a range of refreshments. On peak summer days there is also an Ice Cream van to help you stay cool.
All catering facilities are open to the public, so whatever the reason for your visit don't forget to re-fuel at the National Water Sports Centre.
