Haywood Oaks Activity Centre and Nottingham Go Karts are part of Nottingham & District Gun Club, the home of clay pigeon shooting. The Nottingham based activity centre specialises in hen parties, stag activities, birthday celebrations, fun days out and team building. It was founded in the early 1960s and is a family run business that prides itself on outstanding customer service.
Set in the heart of North Nottinghamshire on the edge of Sherwood Forest (Robin Hood Country) and surrounded by gentle rolling hills, farmland and forest; you really couldn’t find a more idyllic setting for your event. Whether it is a corporate treat, networking, a birthday activity, a stag/hen party or just a good fun day out, we can cater for all your needs. You will find us on the A614, 9 miles to the north of Nottingham City Centre. We are within easy reach of both the M1 and A1.
We are situated very close to many other local attractions including Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest, Rufford Abbey, Clumber Park and the picturesque towns of Southwell, Newark and Edwinstowe.
We offer a relaxed yet professional environment with helpful, courteous and friendly staff. We have many facilities including a corporate meeting room, a friendly and well equipped clubhouse and an extensive menu offering great value hot and cold food all day, every day.
We never mix groups together so if you make a booking with us it will be an exclusive event. If you would like to bring spectators along with you, even if they are not participating in the event, they will be more than welcome.
We offer Clay Pigeon Shooting, Tank Driving, Sphering (also known as Zorbing), Go Karting, Buggy Driving and our Ultimate Race Experience. These activities are all detailed on the website. All of our prices are inclusive of VAT so there are no hidden extras and no nasty surprises. We just ask for a deposit of £10 per person payable at the time of booking to ensure that your booking is secured.
