Looking for a driving experience with a difference? Then you are in the right place. Our Tank Driving sessions give you the chance to drive a real life war monster, weighing in at fifteen and half tons of pure driving pleasure. Our tanks are genuine ex-army vehicles that have served in actual war zones and now they are having their most challenging experience yet, being driven by you!
With our expert tuition you will reach speeds of up to 52kph on our gut-wrenching track which includes steep inclines and sharp drops. It takes nerves of steel to trust in your driving ability - especially when you can't see what's ahead! We guarantee that driving will never be the same again!
Included in the price of your session is tea/coffee, hire of all safety equipment (which includes genuine army-issue kevlar helmets and camouflage overalls so you can dress up and really get into the spirit), a photo opportunity with the tank, a group trip in the back of the tank for to you watch each other go green and, of course, our Tank Commander to give you expert instruction whilst you actually drive the vehicle.
To drive the tank you must be 14 or older and to ride in the back of the tank you must be 10 or over. To ride in the back of the tank you must be accompanied by an adult who is paying full price for the complete Tank Driving experience. It's time to ditch your Xbox or PS3 and drive the real thing! Booking - All we ask for is £10 per person deposit to book an event. It doesn't matter how many activities you book for it is still just £10.
Dress Code - Dress for the weather. Wear trousers or shorts and sensible, comfy footwear that you are happy to get muddy. If doing a water activity don’t forget a change of clothes and a towel.
Availability - All activities are available all week, all year. The only day we close is Christmas Day. You will need to book a session rather than just turn up so we can make sure our Tank Commander is available.
Transfer Time - We are 15 minutes from Nottingham City Centre and 10 minutes from Mansfield. Transfers not included in price but can be sourced if required. Only 5 minutes from Sherwood Forest and Centre Parcs.
Multi-activity - If you would prefer to stay on one site, you can combine any of our activities together to make a day of it! (Go Karting, Zorbing, Clay Shooting, Ultimate Race Experience & Tank Driving).
However, if there are any other activities that you would like to participate in; we can arrange for you to do the following which are just a short drive away:- Quad Biking, Dirt Buggy Safari & Paintball.
Add ons - Lunch or breakfast is available, with prior notice, from our extensive menu.
Restrictions - Not suitable for pregnant ladies, anyone over 24 stone, anyone under 4 foot 8 inches or anyone who is unable to climb a short ladder.
