THIS IS A PAST EVENT
29th October 2011
Something scary is coming to Nottingham on Saturday 29 October 2011. Run as fast as you can!
The Spooky Sprint is a night run for all 5k and 10k runners, offering a terrifying twist on the typical running experience, including optional Halloween fancy dress. It’s a date for any runners diary. Don’t just take our word for it, Women’s Running Magazine’s has highlighted it as one of the top 10 night races for 2011!
The race begins at 6pm, and takes you around our flat course at the National Water Sports Centre Nottingham at night, giving you the chance to push yourself further and faster than ever before.
To compete we require a small entrance fee:
Kids Fun Run - Under 10 ( Free entry)
5K – Age 11+ ( £12 entry)
10K – Age 15+ ( £20/£18 for UKA affiliated)
In return, every 5K and 10K runner will receive:
• Chip timing
• Head torch (so that you can find your way in the dark)
• Exclusive breathable t-shirt
• Finisher’s medal
The Spooky Sprint is an event by Parkinson’s UK, and although there is no minimum fundraising amount, we suggest setting yourself the challenge of raising £100 sponsorship to help us find a cure for Parkinson’s, and improve life for those affected by the illness.
