Nottingham Central Library

The largest library in Nottingham and the principal library in the East Midlands, offering a range of general and specialised library services over 5 floors.

Central Library is spread over 4 floors. 

Ground Floor - Fiction, Talking Books and Children's Library 
Floor 1 - Local Studies Library 
Floor 2 - Science & Business Library 
Floor 3 - Arts Library 

Central Library also contains:

 

A large meeting room, capable of holding 60 people, with facilities for computers, data projectors, etc.

A fully-equipped training room, with 10 computers, white board, data projection facilities, etc.

Colour and black & white photocopiers on 3 floors

Over 70 public computers, with MS Office and Internet facilities, connected to colour and black & white printers (including a high quality colour laser printer)

6th October 2011


To celebrate National Poetry Day, the Mouthy Poets will be bringing a DJ, a mic and lots of poetry. So feel free to bring your tracks, your voice, your words and a pen and paper as Mouthy will lead an open mic of performance, writing and big tunes! Just turn up between 11am - 3pm and sign up. It is a first come first serve basis so bring your words, bring your friends and break the silence. Be heard.
