Firework Displays in Nottinghamshire

1st November

Crabtree Farm Primary School, Bulwell

Gates open at 5.30pm and the event runs until 7.30pm. Tickets in advance cost £2 for children and £3 for adults. On the day, tickets will cost £2.50 for children and £3.50 for adults. There will be food and drink available to buy on the night. No dogs, alcohol, sparklers or fireworks allowed and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

3rd November

Blue Bell Hill Primary School St Ann's

The gates open at 4pm, fireworks at 7pm. There will be a fun fair, stalls and food available. Players from the Nottingham Panthers will also be attending. FREE entry.

4th November

Riverbank Bar and Kitchen

Family Fireworks – doors open 5pm. Children's entertainment – 5.30-7.30pm. Magic show, stilt walker and fire-eater. Barbecue on terrace. Under 2s are free, children £2 and adults £4. Tickets available here.

Nottingham Castle

The castle is putting on a revamped event this year so more people can see the fireworks. Live music from Fat Digester and Joseph Knight, fire performers, a charity firewalk and a fireworks finale.

Castle Rock Brewery will be bringing their bar, with pizzas, barbecue, doughnuts, and a specialist veggie catering team.

Hook a duck and face painting will also be on offer.

Doors open 7pm, live music starts at 7.15, firewalk starts at 8.30/9pm with firework finale to follow. All proceeds raised will be going to support the work of local charity My Sight Notts.

Tickets are £10 for adults, £7 for concessions (OAP and students), £4 for children, £25 for a family (two adults and three children). Advance purchase recommended due to high sales in previous years.

Coppice Park, Ransom Road, NG3 5PG

This is a free event.  Fire performer, giant puppets, food and drink on sale from 6pm.  Display at 7.00 pm.

College House Junior School, Cator Lane, Chilwell

Gates open 6pm, fireworks at 6.30pm. Adults £4, children £2, under 5s free. Hot food, refreshments and light-up toys will be for sale. All proceeds will go to the school. For more information, email or phone 07760 237485.

5th November

Forest Recreation Ground, Nottingham

Fairground 5:30pm – 10:30pm
Children’s small firework display 7:15pm
Bonfire lit 7:45pm
Main fireworks display 9:00pm

As ever, the event is completely FREE (except the fairground rides). Bonfire Night is on a Saturday this year, so this event is expected to be very busy. If you are in a group or have small children, agree a meeting point if you're separated and keep hold of children's hands.

Toilets will be located at either side of the fairground when approaching from the tram stop, and by the Gregory Boulevard entrance.

Travelling to the event:

The event is held at the Forest Recreation Ground, Gregory Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 6HB.

By car: No parking on site except Blue Badge – follow the signs. Alternatively, park in the city centre or at one of the tram park and ride sites, and catch the tram - alight at The Forest.

Riverbank Bar and Kitchen

Adults Only – doors open 8pm. Live band at 10.45pm and DJ afterwards until 2am. Barbecue on the terrace. Tickets cost £5, available here.

South West Notts Firework Extravaganza

South-west Nottinghamshire Scouts will be holding their annual firework extravaganza at Hemlock Scout Camp on Common Lane, Bramcote, NG9 3DT.

Gates open at 5.30pm and the event runs until 10pm.

There will be food stalls, a bar and of course the bonfire and fireworks. Displays will take place at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Admission: Adults £6 Children £3 on the gate. Scouts wearing their necker will receive £1 off admission.

Walesby Forest Scout Camp

Gates open at 5.30pm and there will be a bonfire, fireworks, stall, bars and food.

Advanced booking: family ticket (two adults and three children) £16.00, adults - £4, children £3, Children under four go free. On the gate: (cash only), adults - £5, children - £4 (up to 16yrs), children under four free.

Oxton Village Hall and Playing Fields

Live music, food, drink and fireworks. Gates open at 6pm and fireworks start at 7.15pm.

Chatsworth House

A special children's fireworks display set to Disney classics will open the annual Chatsworth bonfire and fireworks nights on November 5 and 6.

There will also be live ice-carving from the company which created an ice installation for Game of Thrones.

The lighting of the bonfire and the children's firework display takes place at 7.30pm with the main firework display at 8.45pm.

There is also food and drink, live bands and stilt walkers.

Gates open at 6pm.

Tickets are priced at £10 children and £15 adults on Saturday; £8.50 children and £12.50 adults on Sunday. For more information visit:

Bingham Town Sports Club

Gates open 6.30pm for two fireworks displays. Live music, food and beer tent. Adults £3, children £2.

Pepperpots Scout Ground, corner of Plains Road and Arnold Lane

This family-friendly bonfire and firework night will opens its gates at 6.30pm. Fireworks start at 7.30pm.

Food and glowsticks will be available to purchase.

Personal fireworks and sparklers are not allowed. Parking will be available at Nuffield Health Centre nearby.

Tickets will be £5 for adults, £3 for children (age 5-15) and under 5s are free.

Fourth Carlton Scout Group, Standhill Park, Standhill Road, Carlton

Gates open 7pm, the fire will be lit at 7.15pm and fireworks start at 8pm. Entrance charges are £5 adults, £3 children, family £12 (two adults, two children)

Food and refreshments will also be on sale as well as tickets to win the chance to press the big red button and start the display off.

Forest Town Arena, Mansfield

Great Central Railway Nottingham

Gates open 5:30pm and fireworks at 7:30pm. Hot food and a bar, and entertainment such as live music, a funfair and a miniature railway. Newark Rugby Club

Erewash Bonfire and Fireworks Extravaganza

The annual Erewash bonfire night celebrations will be held at West Park in Long Eaton. The gates will open at 6:00pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7:00pm, and the firework events will begin at 7:30pm. There will also be a funfair, stalls and food available.

Family tickets in advance are £10, or £15 on the door. Adult tickets are £5 in advance or £6 on the door, and under-16 and over-60 tickets are £2 in advance or £3 on the door.

6th November

One Call Stadium, Mansfield

Mansfield Town football club's annual fireworks display will take place on Sunday November 6. Gates open at 5pm and the display starts at 7pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for concessions in advance. Tickets on the day will cost £6 for adults and £4 for concessions. Concessions are classed as those aged 17 and under or 60 and over.

Kelham Hall Firework Extravaganza

Gates open 5:00pm, and fireworks start at 7:00. Includes live music, bars, hot food and fairground rides. Tickets purchased online cost £15 per car, on the door £20 per car. For more information click here
