Celebrate our second birthday with us all weekend for free! Join us for some special birthday celebrations including:
Get Involved 17's Birthday Takeover Event
The Lab, Inventing a New Age
Sat 12 & Sun 13 Nov. 1pm - 5pm. Free. The Space
Our youth group, Get Involved 17 will be making a giant science laboratory, using sound, touch, imagination and ideas to create a new universe. Bring along any random objects you might have lying around to help us build something spectacular...all will be revealed! Make inventions, create sound effects and design your own Birthday card or just drop in and have an explore of the ideas in the lab!
Weekend Family Room Fun
Exploding Nature
Sat 12 & Sun 13, 11am - 3pm. Free. The Studio
Drop in to The Studio on Level 2 and create artworks inspired by the power of nature. Help us make art that will take over The Studio's walls, floors and ceilings.
Meet our special guest, professional astronomer Daniel Brown and watch him transform the studio into a mini observatory. He will give families an insight into how they can explore the night sky using their own personal journey and read stories in the stars.
Look out for our zebras!
Our very own zebras will be out and about entertaining everyone, make sure you pick up a free balloon and a badge too!

There's something for everyone all weekend, our Klaus Weber exhibition and Cafe.Bar will be open as usual so come along and wish us a Happy Birthday! You might even be our 500,000th visitor!
