Ghost hunt
The Galleries of Justice is a courthouse and jail that has served Nottingham for over 400 years. It has a long history of powerful emotions - anger, despair, betrayal, and, of course, executions. It is not surprising that this rich atmosphere should have left its mark, so that the buildings today are abound with reported ghostly encounters.
A whole ghost hunt could be held in the reception with its three ghosts, a soldier, a Victorian gentleman and an old lady, but we have the whole building!
Take part in a ghost hunt that will take you to the Hanging Corridor – where ghostly Civil War soldiers were witnessed walking through a wall, the Criminal Court with its shadowy figures and the Pits, a location so spooky that even the staff won’t enter!
You will also have access to the notorious caves where even the Most Haunted Crew witnessed paranormal activity!
Throughout the night you will take part in various activities, workshops and vigils. Our trained, experienced medium will train you how to use your psychic abilities and you’ll be taught how to use the ghost hunting equipment.
Also you will be with paranormal investigator and a medium with the knowledge and experience to place you in situations that could spark off ghostly activity!
This is a limited ticket opportunity to not only indulge in a tour of the location, but to actually spend the night in a real haunted jail with real ghosts!
We also suggest that you bring cameras, camcorders and other recording equipment – the Galleries of Justice hardly disappoints in providing paranormal activity!
Please note: This event finishes at 5:00am. Sleeping facilities are not available, the event involves being awake all night. Over 18s only.
"I would just like to thank you for one of the most amazing nights of my life. I have to say that the Galleries of Justice event was an excellent setting and gave us some fantastic results!! I am definitely going to go again on another one of your dates."
