Nottingham station car park will be closed from Sunday 30 January 2011 for 12 months as part of the Nottingham Hub station redevelopment. Construction of a new 950-space multi-storey car park will commence. A temporary railway station car park will be available at the Sovereign House multi-storey car park, Burnham Way off Sheriffs Way (directly behind Midland Low Price Furniture store).
Directions (from the existing car park): Turn right out of the station car park, continue on Queens Road to the traffic lights and then head onto Sheriffs Way, taking an immediate right onto the slip road, arriving at Sovereign House car park.
This car park will be managed by Network Rail for the benefit of East Midlands Trains customers as part of the Nottingham Hub project.
