Georgetown Restaurant

Georgetown offers the best of Malaysian cuisine inspired by Malay, Mandarin and Tamil influences. All served with a twist in the historic Colwick hall, home of the romantic poet Lord Byron. The menu also boasts fantastic modern British cuisine.

The Georgetown Restaurant is situated in the exquisite front dining room with its stunning ceiling depicting Venus and the cherubs. The long bar serves as the Singapore Sling station as Chopin and Mozart's music played for the discerning diner.

Guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the bar and lounge area before sitting down for dinner.

Georgetown can accommodate up to 70 guests and also offers private dining facilities.

The Georgetown Restaurant is open from 12 - 3.00pm for lunch and 6.00 - 11.00pm for dinner.

Sunday Lunch Menu

Enjoy the traditional Sunday lunch in the grandeur of Colwick Hall without having to pay the grand price! A joint of your choice will be roasted and carved at your table by our Chef and be treated like royalty.

When mighty Roast Beef was the Englishman's food,
It ennobled our brains and enriched our blood.
Our soldiers were brave and our courtiers were good

Cream of Mushroom soup with a wild mushroom doorstep

Smoked Mackerel and horseradish pate served with baby Yorkshire puddings

Duck and orange parfait dressed with a balsamic reduction and  toasted foccacia

Main Course

Roast Sirloin of beef served with thyme Yorkshire puddings and honey and orange roasted parsnips

Roast belly pork served upon a black pudding and leek potato cake

Homemade pie of the day served with colcannon

Colwick Hall special Fish Pie served with spinach and petit pois

Roasted sweet tomato and creamy goats cheese tart served with a blue cheese sauce

Why not try something different and special?

A joint of your choice will be roasted and served at your table by our Chef. This is available to parties of four and above and must be pre- ordered before the day. There is a £2.50 supplement per person
