THIS IS A PAST EVENT
31st March to 15th April 2012
This Easter drop in to see exhibitions for free and take part in free family activities. Explore the galleries with our fun Play and Learn kits and get interactive with the art works by Thomas Demand and DAAR. Draw, explore, make, play and let your imagination run wild!
On Easter Friday and Sunday celebrate spring and make a miniature garden with The Nu-Urban Gardeners complete with model lambs and eggs, living plants and found objects. The friendly – and funny – gardeners have “grown” art with lots of people in London. Now they are coming home to Nottingham.
There will be different events happening each day during the school holidays, so there will be something new to do and plenty to keep children entertained this Easter – all for free. Take home a bright yellow balloon and meet our friendly zebra too.
Nottingham Contemporary is one of 20 Museums and Galleries around the country that has been put forward for the Kids in Museums Award 2012. We aim to make family visitors to Nottingham Contemporary as welcome as possible. There is always creative fun to be had here. More news about the award will be announced in May.
