THIS IS A PAST EVENT
The friends of Thynghowe invites you to learn new skills and help peel away the layers of history of a special part of Sherwood Forest.
The latest techniques will give us a detailed plan of the whole area - then it's over to you, to use newly learnt skills to take part in "ground training" to uncover remaining evidence of 4000 years of this living landscape. There's also a chance to investigate archives to find out about activities that may have taken place.
Join us as we take this incredible journey to conserve Sherwood's diverse heritage for future generations.
To find out more or to book a limited place please get in touch with us on 01623 827326 or email greenwood@nottscc.gov.uk or visit www.thynghowe.org.uk/News
