Enjoy FREE music and dance in Nottingham's city centre as it comes alive once again to the sounds of City Pulse! Saturday 23 - Monday 25 May 2009.

Visit Nottingham and hear the streets come alive with hit tunes of yesteryear, brought to you by their original artists.

There's something for every generation to relive or discover from 1940s swing, 1960s pop and soul, and Ska revival classics. Plus look out for street music and surprise performances at various locations, new stars in the making, and our special ballroom marquee where you can dust off your dancing shoes

"I just wanted to say that Nottingham's Market Square is brilliant! I sat in the square today for an hour watching people having fun in the water, it was peaceful and relaxing and to top it off a duck landed in the water much to everyone’s delight.There was a Muller Rice stand in the square and they were giving away free cartons of Muller rice!"

"How nice that Nottingham gets its act together to celebrate St George's day so well.
The Parede was great, the music was superb and the stalls were good. To top it off, we finally had a go on the big wheel: fantastic!"

Event reviewed : Ice Skating

"Try the ice skating in the Market square, it is great fun! I took my son during the week and we just about had the whole rink to ourselves!I had not skated for many years but managed to have some fun without falling over, the staff made sure my son had a great time and took him for a great time flying around in a car.Highly recommend it for a fun experience."
