The Curious Tavern and Lost Property
Situated in Nottingham's oldest hotel, constructed in 1822, and formerly known as "The George". The Curious Tavern is part of an establishment steeped in history.
The Curious Tavern serves Starbucks Coffee by day Monday to Friday from 7.30am and offers ‘Shuckling Heaven’ by night on Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s. A light, fast daytime menu with the addition of traditional tavern comfort foods are available 7 days a week until 9pm.
Shuckling Heaven includes Oysters and Champagne accompanied by cask ales from the medieval cellars below The George. If you prefer to indulge in cocktails instead, you won't be disappointed with a wide range inspired by famous guests who have stayed in the hotel over the years.
The decor reflects a faded opulence of George IV’s renowned style, design of the venue has been inspired both by the historic Georgian architecture of the building combined with 21st century chic with a touch of Curious Venues to create a place that hotel guests can meet, work, drink or casually dine all hours of the day and night – and in addition a place to see and be seen.
A warm London Town Hotels welcome awaits with a stylish, intimate and relaxing yet fully connected environment.
