Every year all our wonderful woolly sheep are shorn. (All our sheep and one gorgeous goat called Janice). We would love you all to come along and see the shearing for yourself. They are having their haircuts just in time for the warm weather to keep them nice and cool. We are so excited about it we have dedicated the whole weekend to celebrate Farming in Britain!
FREE TRACTOR & TRAILER RIDES!
To get you in the mood, we think a brilliantly bumpy tractor and trailer ride will be perfect. They are so much fun we thought we would make them FREE for the Big Farming Weekend. Its a great way of getting in the paddocks with the animals and getting up close – even to our big Bull – Hero!
Then to the Farmer’s Field of Funfair Games! Try Welly Wanging to win some great prizes, or pop your Dad in the stocks! This will surely give you an appetite and we have some very special guests for the weekend to keep your bellies full of great local food. The Gringley Gringo will be on hand with a super Fajita Stand, made extra special with her lovely locally grown chilli products. The White Post Farm Shop will also be on hand for a sizzling summer BBQ so save some room for a sausage or two!!!
Our friends at Hoots Owls will also be spending the weekend with us for your chance to meet and hold some amazing owls! They are our favourites and always really popular. Don’t miss your chance to get to grips with these beautiful birds of prey.

"We were lucky enough to be invited to test out the brand new crazy golf course at White Post Farm, before it officially opens this Sunday.
The team down on the Farm have done a fantastic job of creating a themed course, which will appeal to the whole family, no matter what your age or golf skill!
What's even better, is that this extra activity is included within your admission price. If you're thinking of visiting, I'd get there early, as this is sure to be a very popular attraction."

"Since my son was born in 2006, I must have been to this farm about 4 or 5 times! He enjoyed it as a baby, and continues to enjoy it as he is growing up. The farm is not of a vast size, and you can do the whole site in around 4 hours, including a stop for lunch. I imagine you could make a whole day of it if you relaxed a bit more! One of my favourite bits is where you can feed the goats using a very cool winch system. The kids love it...and the children too (haha!). At the entrance to the farm, you can buy bags of animal feed (free with your card!), and I highly recommend this, as there's lots of animals to feed on your travels. There is even a walk-in aviary, and the birds are so tame that they will come and sit on your hand and be fed. The farm has a large indoor play area, including very fun slopes to go sledging down, as well as a place to go and hold baby animals."

"Highly recommend White Post farm, the kids loved the indoor play area, they have a huge Astra turf slide that is great fun!
The farm is full of babies right now: lambs, Goats, lamas and pigs, education and fun, great value, gave me a good discount when I showed my card.

"I loved my day out! I just love this farm so much!!It is really enjoyable and you cant get bored!!!!There are so many things to see!I would reccomend this to everyone because its sooo fun!!!"

"It was easier to get to than we thought and onc we were there there was a lot of great things to see and do. The kids loved feeding the goats and llamas and my husband thought the snakes and lizards were best. We had a good picnic near the ducks and geese and the time flew by. Recommended!"

"I took my Grandson in May and really had a wonderful time: white Post Farm is very child-friendly, look out for the Goat mountain, this will burn some energy and is great fun! The rain is not a big problem as they have a big indoor area with slides and animals. The Snakes were a bit scary though. Highly recommend it and they gave us some free food and a few pounds off when we showed our card."

"I really enjoy going to white post farm! I normally go with my dad and it is great fun! i love everything about white post farm especialy the animals! The show is also great the animals are so funny! The imdoor playing area is great fun!
I would definatly reocmmend this for parents with children of all ages!

"We took our three year old and Granny/Grandad for a day. What fantastic fun! It was educational but a great laugh as well, he loved the animals, the farm but especially the huge slide. "
