We start the 2016 Season with a concert for all the family. Prokofiev’s evergreen Peter and the Wolf is presented in a new guise with organ accompaniment showing off all the colours of the Binns Organ. It’s narrated by popular Radio Nottingham broadcaster John Holmes.

Grieg’s Peer Gynt suite features not just the organ but dancers as well, from the glorious freshness of Morning (remember the coffee advert?) to the bass-heavy grumblings of In the Hall of the Mountain King. Then it’s very modern: James Bond and… Star Wars!!!
