Ice Skating Lessons
Want to learn how to improve your confidence and ability on the ice? Skating lessons are available for everyone, at any age or ability, at the National Ice Centre. There are 8 grades to work through, beginning at Grade 1 and, as you progress through each grade, you will be given the opportunity to learn how to speed skate, figure skate or play ice hockey - perfect for anyone who wants to try an exciting and new ice sport activity. Ice Hockey Lessons
Ice Hockey is one of the world's fastest team sports, full of skilful stick handling, tactics, speed and determinationl. Learn how to play this exciting game and you could join an ice hockey club and compete or enjoy ice hockey at leisure, participating in games with ice hockey players of all abilities. You can sign up for a six-week Skate Hockey course at the National Ice Centre, starting from beginner grade 1 through to grade 6, before moving on to the Play Hockey course. Group Ice Skating
Ice Skating is even better with a group of friends or colleagues. Discounted rates are available for groups of ten or more, and bespoke catering options can be provided upon request.
Birthday Packages
A birthday party at the National Ice Centre is guaranteed to put a smile on your little one's face. With their expert ice staff on hand to ensure that you have a great time on the ice and a dedicated party area in the Sub Zero cafe to enjoy your party menu, your child is sure to have a birthday party to remember. Birthday packages are ideal for children aged between 5 and 12 and cost £14.99 per child. The package includes one hour of ice skating, a delicious party menu, a dedicated host, birthday party selfie frame, birthday banner and downloadable party invites and three pieces of ice equipment. Learn to Skate at Lunch
Our new six week learn to skate at lunch sessions are a perfect way to stretch your legs and give yourself a well-deserved break from work! Advance through the levels plus enjoy an extra 15-minutes coach supervised session at the end of the lesson to practice the skills you have learnt.
