Friday Nights at Sneinton Market

Sneinton Market Avenues is the place to be. Their Friday Nights events are returning for another successful year of socialising and fun for everyone of all ages. It's an animal-friendly environment too so everyone is welcome. At each event, you can expect music entertainment to boogie to, tasty food to munch on, thirst-quenching beverages, a variety of craft stalls filled with lots of beautiful products from local craftspeople and more. Easter Festival at White Post Farm

The extra special Easter Festival at White Post Farm is on everyday throughout Notts half-term (Saturday 6th - Monday 22nd April).   From live births and sheep racing, to cuddles with newborn lambs and an Easter stamp hunt, there is so much to get stuck in to at the farm this Spring! Messy Easter Party - Sherwood Methodist Church


Spring into their eggstravaganza party where your little chicks can have some messy Easter fun with egg rolling, Easter rice and feathers. Or explore nature at its messy best with gloopy ducks, bunny tails, and spaghetti bird nests. Of course, no Easter party would be complete without a classic Easter egg hunt. So, get prepared to get messy and have fun, and leave the cleaning up to them! The event is suitable for children aged 6 months (or sitting unaided) to 5 years old. What makes it special is everyone is welcome to join in including older siblings up to the age of 10 during weekends and school holidays, who can participate in the Big Kids Create & Make Corner which include Arts, Crafts and Junk modelling activities to keep them busy!

The Nottingham Ghost Walk


The original and still the only ghost tour of Nottingham City, taking in over 800 years of haunted happenings and ghostly manifestations. The Original Nottingham Ghost Walk is a storytelling tour around the Castle Quarter of the city. It is easy walking, about 1/2 mile long and takes approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Starting from the oldest pub in England, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem and finishing in the haunted caves below Ye Olde Salutation Inn.

Repair Cafe at Sherwood Methodist Church, Nottingham

Hole in your jumper? Broken jewellery? Bike need a check-up? Smashed phone screen? Wobbly chair leg? Broken lamp? Want to learn how fix your broken or damaged things? Get stuck in with the Nottingham Fixers who are a band of community volunteers ready to help you learn to repair your broken households items. They believe that there are many items that can repaired rather than be replaced or thrown away, and want to #sharetherepair and #fixnotthrowaway with you. So, take your broken things to their fun event in the upstairs rooms of Sherwood Methodist Church, and have a cake and a drink in their pop-up cafe. Donations of cakes for their cafe are very welcome.

Scrap Saturday Family Craft Sessions at PlayWorks, Nottingham


Scrap Saturday Family Sessions are a great way to spend some creative time with your family using materials from the ScrapStore, each month has a different theme and there are PlayWorkers on site to lend a helping hand too! These sessions are drop in and are on from 10 am - 12 noon on the 1st Saturday of the month, at PlayWorks. Check the available dates as this is subject to change. Rusticus at Thoresby Park


Join Rabbit and Badger from the Woodland Creatures Theatre as they create another performance from their trunk of epic adventure stories! Sing songs with the outlaws and take part in the Sheriff’s woodland tournament, as you discover the greatest legend of our time – Robin Hood! And remember – no story is too big to tell – if you have enough imagination! Energetic walk with silly activities for family groups of all ages. Lasts approximately 45 minutes. Come dressed for the weather in comfortable footwear. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This event is FREE however, booking is essential as places are limited.

Classic Film Club at Beeston Canalside Heritage Centre

The Canalside Heritage Centre has partnered with Beeston Rylands Community Association to bring you the Classic Film Club. The Classic Film Club takes place fortnightly on a Wednesday afternoon from 2 pm until 4.30 pm and costs £5 per person, which includes an interval with light refreshments. They have programmed a wide variety of films and have tried to include something for everyone - today it's My Fair Lady.

If you are interested in joining them, they recommend calling ahead to reserve a seat as we have a limited capacity of 25 seats. If you have not made a booking then tickets are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please contact them on 0115 922 1773 for further enquiries.
